Elizabeth Kaitan

Born in Hungary on July 19, 1960, Elizabeth Kaitan is an American actress and former model whose screen career became closely associated with a particular stretch of 1980s and 1990s filmmaking. Before her movie work took shape, she modeled for the Bonnie Kay Agency in New York City during the early 1980s. Kaitan appeared in Savage Dawn in 1985, followed by the role of Jennifer Statson in Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 in 1987. A year later, she played Robin Peterson in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. These films remain among the better-known entries on her résumé and placed her in movies that continued to find viewers well beyond their original releases. Her career also included an unusually sustained role in the Vice Academy series. As Candy, Kaitan appeared in parts three, four, five and six, giving her a recurring screen identity across several installments rather than a single appearance. That run forms a substantial part of her 1990s work and distinguishes her filmography from performers remembered for only one sequel or franchise entry. In 1994, Kaitan played Linda in Beretta’s Island, a film that developed a cult reputation. Taken together with her Vice Academy appearances and her roles in Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 and Friday the 13th Part VII, it reflects a career built through productions that have remained in circulation among dedicated movie fans. Kaitan made her final film appearance in 1999.
