Arden Myrin

Arden Myrin has built the kind of career that refuses to stay in one lane. An American actress and comedian with experience across film, television, stage, stand-up and writing, she brings a seasoned comic sensibility to projects ranging from sketch shows to offbeat independent movies. Born on December 10, 1973, in the seaside village of Little Compton, Rhode Island, Myrin showed an early interest in performance by staging neighborhood plays as a child. After attending Colorado College, she briefly moved to Chicago and joined Improv Olympic, later continuing with the group in New York and Los Angeles. Her hometown eventually became material: the stand-up piece Straight Outta Lil' Compton drew on her own experiences, as did her memoir, Little Miss Little Compton. Myrin joined Mad TV as a repertory performer in 2005 and remained through the end of its original FOX run in 2009. She also appeared more than 100 times on Chelsea Lately and became a regular panelist on @midnight. Her extensive television credits include Insatiable, Insecure, Orange Is the New Black, Key & Peele, Inside Amy Schumer, Psych, Bones, Fresh Off the Boat, Reno 911!, Shameless and Gilmore Girls. On film, Myrin has appeared in Quentin Dupieux's Wrong and Wrong Cops, along with Bachelorette, Kinsey and Morning Glory. Her stage work is similarly varied, including Steve Martin's Meteor Shower, Robert O'Hara's Barbecue, John Ross Bowie's Four Chords and a Gun, David Mamet's Boston Marriage and Hay Fever. Beyond acting, Myrin has sold television pilots to Adult Swim and MTV. She hosts the iHeartRadio podcast Will You Accept This Rose?, centered on The Bachelor franchise, and in 2022 debuted Lady of the Road with director Julie Anne Robinson. Across those different formats, her career reflects a performer equally at home in an ensemble, behind a microphone or in front of a live audience.
